Just five miles from The Station House is the National Trust nature reserve at Ludshott Common and Waggoners Wells.
Open to the public this is a wonderful place for nature lovers and walkers to wander. As one of the last remaining large heathlands in the county and a Site of Special Scientific Interest there are a host of things to see.
Rabbits and deer are common but there is lots of potential to catch sight of endangered species such as grass snakes, sand lizards and rare birds such as the Dartford warbler or nightjar.
Waggoners Wells is a series of pond that exist on the common and is a great place for fishing.
